This weekend Kellen got his first taste of veggies... green beans!

6 Months!

We cannot believe that this little guy has already been with us for 6 months! We were so excited to celebrate with him this weekend.

At six months, Kellen is:

• Crawling well on his hands and knees
• Pulling himself up on his feet
• Getting into EVERYTHING
• Laughing all the time
• Starting to eat fruits & veggies
• Loves the bath
• Still loves to be swaddled
• "Sings" all the time

In a Mayville Minute...

In the last couple of days, Kellen has began crawling for real - like not going down on his tummy. At about 9:00pm last evening, we realized that we did not have this new move marking his Independence on tape yet. So we whipped out the camera, and caught a bit of this tired little boy crawling. Here's what we saw:

He then proceeded to check out the goods from this weekends shopping trip, and whipped out another new move - up on his knees! Check it out:

Well, all things come in threes, right? He quickly whipped out another new move (up on his feet!), all while mom and dad watched in amazement. (Keep in mind, this little fearless warrior is not yet 6 months old!)

This evening Kellen was copying silly things that Philip was doing.

On a side note, Kellen also learned how to maneuver from scooting across the floor on his stomach to sitting upright... so fun to watch!

Lock up your girls... this little fella is on the go! He will go to all lengths to knock over these cups. Today when I got home from work, I said "Come to momma", and he crawled right into me arms... so precious!

Deck!

Thank you to Grandpa Dale for helping us build our deck! Here is the finished product, minus the rails and the stairs. We have all already enjoyed much time out on it this weekend. Kellen thourghly enjoyed swiming in his pool, and Oscar found a comfy spot in a Trader Joe's bag!
