Today we decided to tackle Kellen's first bath - so fun, although I don't think that he had the fun we did! We also had our first "fire hose" experience in the process - man can he shoot far! Made for a good laugh.

Wonderful Husband...
Philip has been an absolutely wonderful dad to Kellen from the beginning. He has also kept up with all of the housework, laundry, changed plenty of diapers, prepared all of the meals, and more. Thank you babe! Love you...

Little Marathon Man in Training
This one's for you Grandpa Lee.
Today I practiced holding my head up by myself, and
started prepping the gear for my first run.
Watch out world, here I come!
Survival...
So, we survived another evening....which has made for a sleepy peaceful day to say the least! Today was also Philip's first day back to work. I made it through, and even got Kellen to sleep for a bit in his own! Each time he did this, I ran around the house like a crazy woman trying to get as much as I could done - ie going to the bathroom, taking a shower, and letting Oscar out - you know, the frivolous things... Nonetheless, it was all worth it, as he never fails to make my heart melt!
I included the last pic for you Lindsay... you wouldn't believe the compliments he has received! We would be thrilled if he took after someone as cool as you!

Updates!
We made it through our first night at home and are flying in survival mode! We are all doing well - even Oscar is adjusting surprisingly well to life with his squeaky little brother. Kellen has been more joy than we could imagined. We will write more later, but here are a few pics from our journey thus far!

Twenty Six!
No, twenty six is not only the age that Philip wishes that he was, but it is also the number of deer that we counted in our back yard right before dinner this evening. They were very orderly, as they marched one by one through the trees. At one point when we sat down to eat, they all stopped and stared at us. Nothing like feeling like something is watching you from behind....

Chef Philip
I think my husband deserves the award for the "Self-Taught Chef of the Year". For Valentines Day dinner, he made (from scratch) whole wheat cheese and spinach ravioli - without a recipe. Pure delightfulness! I was very impressed, as it was by far the best ravioli that I have ever had. It may even rivaled the homemade pesto pizza I made for his birthday the night before.... Thanks babe - Happy Valentines Day!

Twenty Eight!
Happy 28th Birthday Philip! It's official, another year older. Oscar and I spent the morning making a cake and wrapping his gifts. And yes, amidst our chaotic last week, I did follow tradition and make a carrot cake from scratch and decorate it like one of his gifts. Can you guess what it is? That's right a Wii Motion Plus - just have to use your imagination! And for the baby... he is still nice and cozy inside. I am enjoying the last little bit of feeling his little wiggles, and the baby is giving Philip a little lesson in patience before parenthood arrives. Happy birthday babe - we love you!
