Happy Halloween!

Happy Halloween for the cutest little Boston Marathon runner! (More pics to follow...) He loved his costume so much he would not put his jacket on before school today... "no jacket, running!" - followed by a bolt across the house. He is set for a race, with his new watch, a flashing arm band and all...

Go Hockey!

We are trying to embrace the fact that winter will be here soon. Today we took a trip to Hockey World, and came out with some little Bauer hockey skates, and the smallest little hockey helmet. SO CUTE - love it! I cannot wait to go skating! They are the smallest hockey skates that they make, and are just a touch big on him - so should be perfect this winter. In the words of Kellen, "GO HOCKEY!" So dad, you may have a year until he becomes partial to the Sioux (or whatever name is coming down the pike...), so ENJOY IT! Although, he does say "Sioux" pretty darn clear....

Ride...

Please excuse the tornadic disaster that is our house..... We totally dig how he lifts his leg each time he talks about riding his tractor...

Good Night!

So Kellen's recent love over the summer has been tractors - he talks about them in his sleep, non-stop during the day, can spot one miles away, and tells everyone we cross in public about them. He pushes his green tractor around all day, making all the noises. He LOVES to ride on Philip's riding mower, and will walk around lifting his leg, saying, "ride" (as obviously that is how you get on a tractor - right?) He even puts his tractor to bed: he covers it with a blanket, pats it to sleep, and then tucks it in. He is SOOOOO proud of his tractor!

Dishes!

Admittedly, I make a mess when I cook, AND my lovely husband continues to do do the dishes - perfect! He now has a new little helper, who coincidentally looks just like him - cute. I could get used of this...

Planting Trees with Dad

Kellen absolutely loves to do anything that anyone else is doing - especially Philip... it is so cute watching Kellen help him plant trees or mow the lawn. Now every time he sees Philip mowing the lawn he runs around our deck watching him VERY intently waving, and when he stops he yells "ride" "ride". So cute.

Jumping!

Once upon a time Philip got this dirt cheap... so now he can play carnival anytime he wants - and we don't even have to smell the corn dogs!
